Objectives of the Committee

  • Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all female staff and students.
  • Foster a gender-sensitive culture within the institution.
  • Empower women in academic, professional, and personal aspects.
  • Organize workshops and awareness programs to build a gender-neutral workplace.
  • Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and equality for women.
  • Highlight the importance of spirituality, health, hygiene, and safety.
  • Conduct activities promoting awareness on health, sports, and self-defense.

Functions and Responsibilities

  • Empower women through education and awareness initiatives.
  • Organize health and wellness programs for women.
  • Address and resolve women-related grievances and complaints.
  • Promote awareness about women’s rights, welfare, and legal provisions.
  • Provide complaint-handling and counseling support.
  • Enhance interpersonal and leadership skills among women.
  • Ensure safety and protection of girl students on campus.
  • Motivate and guide girl students to realize their potential.
  • Celebrate International Women’s Day annually in March.

Composition of the Committee

  • Chairman: Liaison between committee and management; oversees funds and approvals.
  • Coordinator: Coordinates departmental members and represents issues to the committee.
  • Faculty Members: Represent departmental concerns and support initiatives.
  • Member from Medical Department: Addresses health and wellness concerns.
  • Advocate: Provides legal advice and handles legal matters.
  • Student Members: Act as class representatives and raise class-related issues.

Coordinator: Coordinates departmental issues and ensures smooth operations.

Faculty Members: Represent women’s welfare concerns from their departments.

Medical Member: Provides support for women’s health and well-being.

Advocate: Addresses legal aspects of complaints and provides guidance.

Student Members: Bring forward class-level concerns and promote awareness.
