In pursuance of the National Action Plan of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore, for performance evaluation, assessment and accreditation and quality up gradation of institutions of higher education, the NAAC proposes that every accredited institution establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post- accreditation quality sustenance measure. Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC will become a part of an institution’s system and work towards realizing the goals of quality enhance and sustenance. The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the performance of institutions.
Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has been formed with the objective of “Enhancing and ensuring the quality of academic and administrative performance of the institution”.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is established to develop a mechanism for systematic reviews of study programs and to ensure research, quality teaching–learning, knowledge generation, and support services standards. It serves as the driving force behind the institution’s continuous quest for excellence in all spheres of academic and administrative functioning.
Quality enhancement is not a one-time effort but a continuous journey. The IQAC assures stakeholders—students, faculty, administrative staff, quality circle members, funding agencies, and society at large—of accountability and transparency in the institution’s quality management system.
Our primary objective is to nurture a culture of quality through systematic and sustained efforts—ensuring that innovation, integrity, and inclusiveness remain at the heart of our institutional growth.
In alignment with our vision and mission, the IQAC consistently works towards enhancing teaching–learning processes, fostering research and innovation, strengthening student support mechanisms, and promoting effective governance. Through regular feedback, internal audits, benchmarking, and adoption of best practices, we strive to make quality a conscious and integrated element of our institutional ethos.
As we move forward, we remain committed to embracing emerging trends in higher education, leveraging technology, and building a learner-centric environment that empowers our students to become responsible global citizens.
