The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering was started in the year 2006, with an intake of sixty students. The team of thirteen faculty members are well qualified and experienced. The department currently has about 200 students from various states of India, working together in a cordial atmosphere conducive to excellence in education. The department is committed to achieving academic excellence and promoting R&D activities. Its mission is to produce engineers with self-discipline, high integrity, and strong personality through excellent engineering education and training.

The department equips students with core competencies in electrical machines, power systems, control systems, power electronics, renewable energy, and smart grid technologies.
