About the ceremony
The 1st Graduation Day for PG students of batch 2024–26 was held on 1 October 2026 at Viswam Engineering College (Autonomous). Graduates attended with their parents and well-wishers to celebrate their academic achievements.
The day began with an academic procession of the Chairman, Chief Guest, JNTUA Vice-Chancellor, University Nominee, Controller of Examinations, Principal, Director, Vice-Principal, Deans and Heads of Departments, escorted to the venue by the college band. Sri. M. Prabhakar Reddy Garu, Chairman of Viswam Group of Institutions, declared the Graduation Day open.
Graduating students took the Graduation Oath, reaffirming their commitment to professional ethics, values and responsibilities. Heads of Departments announced the names of graduates from their departments, and degree certificates were presented by the dignitaries. Nine students received medals for outstanding academic performance.
The Vice-Chancellor and the University Nominee addressed the graduates on their academic journey, professional responsibilities and the importance of embracing future opportunities with confidence, discipline and dedication. The Chairman declared the ceremony closed. The Chairman, the Controller of Examinations and the Principal felicitated the Chief Guest and the University Nominee with shawls and mementos. The ceremony ended with the National Anthem and a group photograph with dignitaries, graduates, faculty and staff.
